Overnight at Harberton

Harberton is mainly set up for day visitors.  Occasionally we accept overnight visitors.  There are two small guest houses, the Old Shepherd's House, with two triple rooms with private bath, and the Old Cookhouse, one of the original buildings, with one double and one bunkroom, share bath. 

The prices include tea on arrival (if before 6 pm), room, breakfast, special homestead tour, museum tour, hiking, visits with the family, visit our library, special attention.  Also, self-guided walks and hikes, rest, visit with the family, take advantage of the beautiful scenery and its natural history; watch the changing light as the sun sets over Harberton’s hills and mountains. 

No visitors received after 7 pm, no credit cards or traveler's checks.  Penguin Island walking tour not included.  Sorry, we do not offer horseback riding.  Please consult estanciaharberton@gmail.com.

Camping:

We have three wooded camping sites, each along a river, but without services (no rest rooms): Río Lasifashaj, Río Varela & Río Cambaceres. Camping is free, with a written permission from the estancia (request permit at the Tea Room).
